1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the RR4X4 Works website (www.rr4x4works.co.uk) and any services provided by RR4X4 Works. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Overview

RR4X4 Works provides an engine sourcing, supply, reconditioning, and fitting service specialising in Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles. Our services include:

Supply of used and reconditioned engines matched to your vehicle's VIN
Coordination of professional fitting through our vetted specialist network
Warranty-backed engine replacement packages
Ancillary services including DPF refurbishment, turbocharger repair, and carbon cleaning

3. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided are based on the vehicle registration number and/or VIN supplied by the customer. RR4X4 Works accepts no liability for incorrect quotes resulting from inaccurate information provided by the customer.
Quotes are valid for the period stated at the time of issue. Prices are subject to change without notice until an order is confirmed in writing.
Where 0% finance options are offered, these are subject to eligibility and provided by third-party finance partners under separate agreements.

4. Orders and Payment

An order is confirmed only upon receipt of written confirmation from RR4X4 Works and payment of any deposit or full amount as agreed.
Full payment terms will be communicated at the point of order. RR4X4 Works reserves the right to decline or cancel any order at its discretion.

5. Engine Supply and Compatibility

All engines are matched to your vehicle by VIN to ensure compatibility. Customers are responsible for ensuring the vehicle details and registration provided are accurate and complete.
Used engines are graded (A-C) based on condition and mileage. Full condition reports including compression test results, bore scope imagery, and mileage verification are provided prior to purchase.
Reconditioned engines are rebuilt to manufacturer specifications and dyno-tested before despatch.

6. Warranty Terms

Used engines are supplied with a 3-12 month unlimited mileage warranty, depending on engine grade and condition.
Reconditioned engines are supplied with a 12-36 month unlimited mileage warranty, as specified at the point of sale.
Warranties cover mechanical failure of the engine unit as supplied. They do not cover: damage caused by incorrect fitting, misuse, lack of servicing, use of incorrect lubricants or fluids, external damage, or wear and tear to ancillary components not supplied by RR4X4 Works.
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to enquiries@rr4x4works.co.uk and are subject to inspection and assessment by RR4X4 Works or an appointed specialist.
Premium 24-36 month warranties include cover for parts, labour, and courtesy car provision for in-warranty failures carried out at our network garages.

7. Fitting Services

Fitting is carried out by independent MIRA-vetted specialist garages within our network. Whilst we take care in vetting all network partners, RR4X4 Works acts as a coordination service and the fitting contract exists between the customer and the appointed garage.
Any concerns about fitting quality must be raised directly with the garage in the first instance, and with RR4X4 Works if unresolved.

8. Nationwide Recovery

Where vehicle recovery is arranged, this is coordinated through third-party recovery providers. RR4X4 Works does not operate its own recovery fleet and accepts no liability for delays or damage arising from recovery services beyond our reasonable control.

9. Returns and Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing. Orders cancelled after an engine has been dispatched may be subject to a restocking or return freight fee.
Engines that have been fitted cannot be returned unless they are found to be materially defective and covered under the applicable warranty.
Engines returned must be in the same condition as supplied, unmodified, and accompanied by a full description of the reason for return.

10. Limitation of Liability

RR4X4 Works shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to loss of earnings, vehicle downtime, or costs of alternative transport, except where expressly covered under a written warranty.
Our total liability to any customer in connection with a supply shall not exceed the value of the engine or service purchased.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the RR4X4 Works website — including text, images, logos, and engine data — is the property of RR4X4 Works or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content without prior written consent.

12. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. RR4X4 Works is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any linked third-party site.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon publication on our website. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
